[once ryo goes to lie down somewhere with his bandages where there's less of a crowd, kuranosuke, who has been following him like the obnoxious jackass he is, sits down next to him and holds out a hand.]

Bandaging your own wounds sucks. Hand it over, I'll help.

[ WHERE DID YOU COME FROM well. he just pauses, as he was obviously not expecting anyone to actually follow him. ]

"Can" doesn't mean "have to"! Come on, hand it over. I'm here, I've got hands.

he just pulls bandages from his pocket but does not do anything other than that. ]

Okay, let's see here... did you clean out the wound already or nah?

[peeks. what's the status.]

[ for the sake of ease we can say it's cleaned already. his left eye is just-- gone. the area around it doesn't look like it's healed, like the dried blood might imply, but literally just what a very horrible wound might look like if you literally just

do not tend to it at all for several days

so even if it's clean it still looks bad ]

How does it already look like this? It's been, what, a matter of hours? You didn't look like this yesterday?!

[BIG YIKES. he'll start bandaging, at least.]

It's been a week, for me. Although the wound is only a few days old.

[ a pause ]

For the others it's only been a few hours though.

We got separated.

The passage of time though...? Like, that'd explain being in two separate places, but - how...?

Well, time dilation is something that would occur in space, it was just odd that it occurred within the same ship-- it would be one thing if I were on a different planet...

Whoa, back up a second. Space? Ship? What the hell were you doing in space? We're sinners, apparently, not astronauts!

We ended up there, somehow. We went to an island, and then ended up in space.

The more I hear about this the less sense it makes.

[finishes tying off the bandages]

The others went through some emotional turmoil.

[looks over at him occasionally to make sure he's not, like, dead]

[ imagine if this is how ryo dies and you're the witness for trial

but that's fine. it is not a long nap so he does wake up and seem

deeply confused about where he is ]
