Sorry your efforts from the other day got ruined all of a sudden like that. What a mess, eh? Hahaha...
[As if it was his fault somehow. It was nobody's fault, really, but given the week's effect he's feeling a tad emotional about Kuranosuke having taken the time to brush him the best he could, and then it all just being ruined a few days later in a way that leaves Filbo's fur worse than he was a few days ago, hah]
[He's pretty sure nobody on this island understands at all how gross this feels. Also this is hell and the most hellish thing he can imagine right now is ants coming to bother him because he has frosting on his fur, now that'd be horrible]
Do you think it really was Scaramouche who made that cake appear?

Man, who even knows? It kinda seems like those two argue a lot, so it could be Childe was just messing with him. I also don't have a clue why Scaramouche would tell him what he was planning if he was gonna do something. But also, he could have done that knowing people might not believe Childe?
...I suppose that it was to Childe is relevant because, I mean...if he hates the guy so much why to tell him he was planning to mess with the trial? Especially if it meant Childe would know to stay away, right?
[Unless Scaramouche doesn't dislike Childe as he makes it seem, but that seems unlikely! In Filbo's opinion, Scaramouche is not the kind to pretend anything, and also he has grumpdamn 'holding grudges' in his skills]
Oh, they're bitter, alright, one can see that so easily during the trials! Maybe--maybe them being here with each other is a way to make this truly hell! Scaramouche was telling me the other day he wasn't affected by a lot of what this place has, so...Childe being here perhaps is how he was being eternally tortured!
