Oh, they're great. Tsukimi's kind of a nerd. Well, okay, no. She's a huge nerd. She's super into jellyfish, but like... she gets really inspired and works super hard! Otaku power, man. She gets so happy around that kind of stuff, it's adorable.
And my mom's... she's just great. She had to leave me with my dad for a long time, 'cause she got sick, but... she's doing a lot better now. She always wanted what was best for me.
Otaku...? [He is not familiar with that term, but.] Well, I'm glad your mom is doing better. Just, uh, don't send her back to the healers when you tell her what you've been up to lately. Or Tsukimi.
Yeah. An otaku is, like... someone who's really into a certain thing. For Tsukimi it's jellyfish, but some of our other friends are into kimono, or dolls, or trains, or Romance of the Three Kingdoms, or... old men.
