Yeah... wish it had been more of us, honestly, if only so we could rest a little easier about it - but half is pretty good.

...plus, I don't think she's gonna try to screw us over or anything. It's just, like... a matter of getting it framed right so no one gives her any trouble when this is all over.

The Emperor sounds like a fucking tyrant and if I know anything from the, like, tropes I've heard my otaku friends talking about, when someone in power makes a teenager their right-hand man, there's usually a lot of brainwashing and/or manipulation involved. That shit's on him, not on you.
