It varies. You have the trolls, for example, they worship a larger number of specific animal spirits, or the tauren who worship the sun. Night elves, who my people are more or less cousins of, unsurprisingly worship the moon, and humans tend to follow the Light-- that one is what I have the most familiarity with, they taught some of my people how to channel it to heal, and... those who believed in it largely stayed with them when we withdrew to our own lands.

I don't care for it. Seems hypocritical at this point-- you don't actually have to believe in the Light to wield it. It's a force and a tool, not something that cares for people who worship it, but that's the sort of philosophy that they encourage.
What was it they believed-- the earth birthed the sun and moon, and I suppose eventually set them in the sky? I'm not very familiar with their religion, there's something about believing the sun's light represents their Earth Mother's warmth in some way.
The Light is more of a force from beyond our worlds entirely. The beings that embody it-- they come from somewhere we've never been able to reach ourselves.
