What was it they believed-- the earth birthed the sun and moon, and I suppose eventually set them in the sky? I'm not very familiar with their religion, there's something about believing the sun's light represents their Earth Mother's warmth in some way.
The Light is more of a force from beyond our worlds entirely. The beings that embody it-- they come from somewhere we've never been able to reach ourselves.
