[unnerfed party! harrow is in the library working while skeletons pull books and turn pages for her. they will move out of the way to let kuranosuke through.]
...Ah. I'm glad to see you; I had been hoping to talk.
Lord Satan himself has no desire to torture us; he'd probably let more of us go if it was purely up to him, but he has bureaucracy and the opinions of his subjects to contend with. If we can put together a proposal that might satisfy the viewers of this program, then he might agree. They want to see dramatic twists and betrayals and suffering and for only a few to win, not thirty something people walking away peacefully.
...I guess we could always use it to make Satan forget he's worried about the bureaucracy and opinions and stuff, but that'd be a pretty shitty thing to do to him and he actually seems like a much nicer guy than I expected...?
Yes, and additionally it wouldn't work on him - I presume, these items don't usually work on the personal demons - and likely he can hear everything we're discussing.
It is fine, so long as you have not been stupid enough to wander around threatening to kill him. Even then, it is probably fine. He is remarkably tolerant.

...Ah. I'm glad to see you; I had been hoping to talk.

Oh, hey! Sure, what's up?
no subject
...Yes. Us leaving containment has accelerated things somewhat. There's a tight timeline to pull anything off.
There's no guarantee it will work, but Blue and Malibu think there is potential in a plan to present a proposal to Lord Satan for different terms.

[he thanks the skeleton (or. harrow, for animating them? both of them?) and sits down.]
What, like bribing him into letting us go? I'm not above trying that...

[she chews on a fingernail.]

That's probably too simple...

Well, no. Mephisto can stay.

[kuranosuke, no.]
What were you gonna use it on Ryo for?
no subject
[she says this so seriously.]
But I don't want to hurt Akira, so I suppose I could make Mephisto pay instead.

[ryo, please...]
Honestly, though, I'm biased. I am all for anything that makes Mephisto's day suckier.
