Well... you never know! Being in hell is, like, an experience. There could've been plenty of stuff going on for you guys that I didn't know about.

Not really. Well, a human like you might've taken issue with all the violence and killing over on this side, but it was arguably more "normal" than the weekly farce for the pseudo-living.

Though with your arrival to this side, it seems they're implementing more penalties. Still more tolerable than the pointless song and dance of the trials, at least.

...I wonder if this is what the, like, regular hell experience is supposed to be then... since we were only being held separately from the rest of hell temporarily, right?

Well, Lavi did still get jailed for killing some demons, so it's not as if wanton murder was approved before this either. But yes, this is the "real" Hell—the previous dimension everyone was in before was just the introductory grounds, so to speak.

Was it like that for everyone? Like... the others who are in hell that we weren't with before?

If you're talking about the handful of denizens who're a bit nosier about us than the others, they're just that—other residents of Hell from back whenever they died who didn't receive the chance to revive, from what I gather.

Huh... I wonder if they had a "waiting period" like we did too. Guess I'll have to ask 'em.

Honestly, the systems in this version of Hell are so human-like that it's ridiculous.

But it says much of what you need to know about how things are run here that Satan says he applied for the job with a resume.

Well, yes. In general, Satan has been... underwhelming.
